Facebook plans to integrate WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

As per Facebook these all applications will be there but now they will get integrated with service on lower lever that messages can be communicated between applications which are right now is not possible.

Facebook told BBC that it was the start of “long progress”.

In the New York Times, this plan was first reported. It has been believed as its Mark Zuckerberg’s personal project.

After completion of this project, the merger would mean that Facebook user can communicate with WhatsApp user who has only WhatsApp account.

The work on this project has already been started and NYT already reported, and the project is expected to complete by end of 2019 or early next year.

It will result in people will spend more time spend on them.

By joining all these users of Facebook will compete more with Google’s messaging services as well as Apple’s iMessage.

In a statement, Facebook told that “We want to build the messaging experiences we can; and people want messaging to be fast, simple, reliable and private.” as per BBC.
